Two people whose names have yet to be released were robbed at CastleRock apartment complex in Denton.
One of the suspects is said to be former Euless Trinity High School's superstar Terrence Neal Tusan, who currently plays football for Howard University in Washington D.C. The second out of the three suspects is Jakobi Dimon Gipson. Both Tusan and Gipson were shot and killed at the scene by one of the victims. The third suspect fled the scene and police are still investigating.
There is no clear motive and police are still unsure of the relationship between the suspects on the apartment residents who were robbed. The two victims were injured at the scene. Police were able to find the gun of one of the victim's and a gun from one of the suspects. However, police are still unsure as to whether the apartment resident was a legal owner of the gun.
It is crazy to think about such incidents happening in our own neighborhood. If you own a gun it is important that you have a permit and follow all of the requirements to possessing a firearm. Also alert police if you see any suspicious activity going on around you.
